Dream Dinners

Tonight Some of the Foxes went to Dream Dinners. We had such a blast! For those of you that don't know what Dream Dinners is, it's a place where you go to prepare food to cook in your own home. You go to Dream dinners and it's all set up like a professional kitchen with all the ingredients that you'll need to make the meals that you've chosen. they have a different menu for each month and there's about 16 different thing you can chose from. Tonight was a free night where we were able to go and taste some of the dishes and make our own meal to take home for free!!! You had two meals to chose from, Honey Glazed Chicken or Pot Roast. Well, since my mom came with me she made one and I made the other and we split the orders in half, so we were able to make half orders of both the dinners. The dinners serve 4 to 6 people. For example; the Honey Glazed Chicken dinner has 6 large chicken breast. since I live alone I split those in to two dinners. The best part of the whole thing is you don't have to clean anything up!!! They do it for you. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable. I'm trying it out for a month to see if it works out for me. It ends up being about $200.00 a month and that would give me 24 dinners. not to shabby....I have to say it was a lot of fun!!!

My Paper Storage

The 1st 2 pictures are of the plastic crates from Staples. I bought three for $15 and then I bought the wheels for the bottom of the crates. I believe they were $5 for a pack of 4 wheels. I have all my paper separated in legal sized hanging file folders. This storage works perfect for me. The wheels make it easy for me to move it without having to pick it up. I like to have my paper next to my chair and If I have to get up I can easily move it cause of the wheels. If you want to to be stationary, you don't even need the wheels. When I bought these they came in 5 colors...Turquoise, Pink, Orange, Black & clear, which I what I went with.

For my cardstock I use those plastic stackable letter trays that come 6 to a box at Staples. I just turned them on their side so that the opening is in the front and I glued them together. I like that it's totally opened in the front and I can see all the colors easley.

I've had my paper several different ways over the years and I find this one the best and most inexpensive so far.

My BEST Friend!

It's been a while since I've done a LO of my friend Susy. I did this one last night.

Susy came in to my life two and a half years ago. We met at Michael's craft store. Susy was looking for an exacto knife and I overheard her talking to someone there and I told her that I knew where they were. She has said that she saw this cool exacto when she was at the Memories Expo. My reaction was "So you're a SCRAPBOOKER?!? Me too!" We chatted for a little while and she introduced me to her hubby and two beautiful children Kaitlin & Nathan, who were all with her that day at Michael's. I told her that I had just started a scrapbooking group and she should come crop with us. We exchanged email addresses and have been friends ever since! Susy has become like a sister to me. We do everything together...We even get Aunt Flow on the same day now! LOL!!! How funny is that! (I know...too much info)...LOL!

Susy is truly one of the nicest people....I hope she knows how much our friendship means to me. I couldn't fathom the thought of her not being in my life!!!

Susy...I love you with all my heart!

Yeah...I got my NEW Bed!

I've been wanting this bed for so long and now it's mine!!! I had to sell my old bed before I could by the new one, cause I had nowhere to store it. One of my Foxy friends, Wendy told me about this site called Craig's List! This site is FANTASTIC!!! I sold my bed in less than a week to this really nice guy. It was a Rustic Pine bed and he bought it for his new ranch he's building.....must be nice...Hee hee hee...He loved the bed and said it was just what he was looking for, so I'm happy it went to a nice person!!

So, back to the NEW bed!! Isn't it cute!!! It matches my wrought iron chairs perfectly!!! Tonight will be my 1st night sleeping in it! I washed all my bedding and it smells yummy!!!

Is This Cute Or What!

Just had to share....Zoe is 8 months old now!!

What's That Sound?!?

Ok, so Ive been working all day today and I took a break for lunch. As I was sitting there in my living room I hear this tapping noise....Ok, whatever.....but it keeps going and stopping and going again. So I decided to go out on my patio and see where it's coming from...It sounds like it's coming from the tree....and there it is!! A WOODPECKER! I've never seen one in real life before. Well there not blue like Woody the Woodpecker! Hee hee heee....It's black with white specks and a red on the top of it's head. Too cute.....So, I ran and got my camera and was able to get this picture of it.

Green Day *update*

Hee hee hee...Capella & I just got back from the Green Day concert at the Home Depot Center!!! That concert ROCKED!!! We had the best tickets!!! We were right on the floor next to the stage!! Capella & I had a BLAST!!!

Billy Joe was a Nasty Boy!! But still totally cute!!

He brought some young kids on stage to spray the audience with water...You know that they were just havin' the time of their lives!!! Then they asked the audience who played the drums, bass and guitar and brought these guys up from the audience to play!! It was really cool...I was sooo excited for them!! Billy Joe actually let the kid keep that guitar!! How cool is that?!?

All Day Crop!

So, yesterday I went to a crop for a Cure. $15.00 of each registration fee went to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It was a FANTASTIC day and lots of lovely ladies.

The Foxy Croppers were there to represent and we had a BLAST! I actually got 7 1/2 LO's done!! That's a record for me!!! I even preplanned pages!

No Longer A Mess!

Wow, you can finally see that my desk is actually white! Hee hee hee...I've been spending a little bit of time over the pase week cleaning and reorganizing my scrap room/office! There's a bed on the right side that i'm going to be getting rid of so that I can have more room and hopfully three people will be able to scrap in that space!!!

One More Day!!!

Woo hoo....One more day till Gingers fundraiser crop for the fight against breast cancer!!!

I'm so excited to have a whole day of scrapbooking. I have to say....This is the most organized I've ever been for a crop! I have my pictures ready and I even have 11 LO's sketched out. Tonight I will be picking out paper and I'm gonna be good to go!!! Lets see if all this planning pays off!!!

Green Day!

Hee hee hee...I'm so excited!!! I'm going to see Green Day on Sunday! Last night my friend Capella called and asked me if I wanted to go!!! It's at the Hope Depot Center in Carson CA! I've never been there and it's an outside venue! Should be a GREAT time!! Woo hoo!!!

Some Family Photos

I just love this picture of me and my Dad! It was taken at my 35th birthday party (9.01.05) and it's my new FAVORITE picture of the two of us. My parents don't share my love for photography and I usually hear..."Another Picture!" But When I get photos like this it's all worth it. :)

My Mom is the worst when it comes to taking pictures. She always talks when you want to take a picture of her and she ends up with her mouth all tweaked! I tell her "Just Smile", don't talk, just smile. Sometimes she actually listens to me and I get a picture like this one.

My Sister is notorious for always having her eyes closed! The only time I can get a good picture of her is if she's outside and laughing. She's really bad at faking a smiles.

More Than Scrapbooking October Kit

I just thought I'd share my design team submissions for the More Than Scrapbooking October kit. It's the "NEW" Scenic Route "Harvest" paper!! I just love this paper!! So warm and yummy. Really great colors for fall.

Susy took this picture of me a few weeks ago at Johnny Carson Park. We were playing around with her new lens. I really love these papers with this picture.

Next, I used some 2" squares for this fall card. Just a cute simple card.

Neil Diamond Concert!

Well earlier today I got a call from Araxi asking if I wanted to go to the Neil diamond concert!!! Araxi had 5 free tickets, so Araxi, Crystle, Susy, Susy's Mom & I hooked up at 7 o'clock and headed over to the Staples Center to see Neil Diamond Live and in Concert!!! LOL!!! We had the best time! Araxi & I were rockin' it out!! Ya know I love ya girl!!!
