The Past Few Days.....

Sunday night my neighbor brought me a little surprise!!! A baby squirrel! He is just the CUTEST thing ever!!! Poor thing fell out of it's nest and she knew that the squirrels love to hang out on my patio and I always feed them. So, she brought it to me.

I found this awesome site that had tons of info on how to take care of the baby. I followed all of the instructions and I even tried to reunite the baby with it's mommy, but it didn't work. The mommy came down the tree once, but didn't come all the way down. Maybe she has too many babies and can't feed them all and she booted one out.

The lady that wrote the info I found on the net actually lives here in Los Angeles and she's a wild life rehabilitator. She said that if the mom didn't take it back that she would take it in. I'm so sad though!!! I don't want to give it to her, but I know I it's for the best.
