Yup, that's right.... I was mom for a whole day!!! I took Kaitlyn & Nathan for the night! I had promised them a sleepover this past summer, but it just never happened. So last night was the night! Susy dropped them off at about 4:30 last night and that's when the FUN began!!! Hee hee hee.... Once they were here I asked them where they wanted to go for dinner? I told them they could choose any place they wanted and they chose Islands!! So at about 5 o'clock, it was off to Islands for dinner! We had a GREAT time at dinner and they finished EVERYTHING!!!
After dinner we stopped at the market so pick up some sprinkles, cause when we got home we were makin' COOKIES!!!! We got in and out of there pretty quick and it was back to my place. Once we got home we busted out the cookies and got right down to business! They were so excited and they did such a FANTASTIC job decorating them!!! Once the cookies were done we kicked back on the sofa and had some cookies and milk!!!
After we finished our cookies the kids got ready for bed. I told them both that they had to go potty before they went to bed, cause I didn't want anyone peeing in MY bed!!! LOL! Kaitlyn was fine, but Nathan didn't want to go, so I had to put in a little phone call to DADDY!!! After Nathan talked to his Dad he went potty and it was off to dreamland! I'd say they were out in about 20 minutes!!!
This morning we woke up bright and early! We kicked back on the sofa again for a little while and watch some cartoons! Then I made some breakfast and we got ready for the day! Once we were all ready the kids wanted to play outside for a while. they ran around, we played and I took some CUTE pictures of them!!!
At about 1:30 Phil & Susy came and picked us all up and we went out to lunch. After lunch they dropped me off at home and I took a nap!!! I didn't sleep very well on the sofa..... I was up most of the night! The damn cats were running all over the place and they kept waking me up!!! Argh.... Well, I'm gonna sleep well tonight!

Wow--sounds like you did a GREAT job being Mom for the Day!!! Cookie making is always a sure bet with kids!
