Work, Work & More Work!

Yup, it's that time again! The end of the month and I'm here trying to get all my work finished!!! I'll be working like a dog for the rest of the day so that I can get my work finished and turned in today!

I want to thank the Foxes for all the wonderful gifts!! I had a really GREAT time! You all are an amazing bunch of talented women and I am honored to call you my friends!!!

Time to Celebrate....

This past Saturday the Foxy girls helped me celebrate my "35th" birthday! Argh...35! I can't believe I'm going to be 35!!! It just seems so unreal! I'm actually a grownup!! I really don't feel like one and I sure the hell don't act like one! LOL! I'll actually be 35 this Thurs. Sept 1st.

The celebration Continues...Thursday a bunch of us are getting together for dinner at PF Changs!!! So, it will be a night of GREAT friends and Great food. Is there a better combination?

Araxi & I got together this afternoon for lunch. She brought her little cutie Alex and I just had to take some pictures of this handsome little guy! Argh....He is just too cute for words!!! He got a hold of my Foxy Cropper hat and started gnawing away....Hee hee hee...Love it!!

I Practiced Being A "Mom"!...

For the past 24 hours I had my best friend Susy's Children, Nathan 4 and Kaitlin 8. Susy & her hubby, Phil are celebrating their 12th year wedding anniversary this Monday and her DH took her to Vegas for a romantic weekend! I hope they are having the BEST time!!!

No one could watch the kiddies all weekend, so we all took turns! I had them from Friday morning till about noon on Saturday. I picked up Nathan & Kaitlin and we went over to my other dear friend Crystles house to hang out by the pool! I was determined to tucker those kids out so that they would zonk right out when they went to bed! We spend about 5 hours in the pool and the kids all had a great time.

On the way home from Crystle's we stopped off at Ralphs market to get something to eat for dinner and for the ingredients to make Rice Crispy Treats. I asked the munchkins what they wanted to eat for dinner and they both wanted fish sticks! Well, that was easy..... So, we got all our goodies and headed to my place.

Once we got to my apartment, all the kids wanted to do is play with my kitties Riley & Zoe. I let them play for a little while and then it was bath time!!! Hee hee hee...That was fun!!! Needless to say, I got all wet!!! We finished up in the bath and then I set them up on the sofa and they watch some cartoons while I cooked dinner. They were both perfect little angels.....They ate all their dinner...I was shocked...I didn't even have to bribe or threaten them! LOL!!!

After Dinner they played a little more and watched a bit more TV. About an hour later Nathan said he wanted to go to bed and about 5 min. after that Kaitlin wanted to go to bed too....I tucked them both in to bed and they both slept through the night.

The next morning those little rugrats woke me up at 6:50am!!! Argh....LOL!! I set them Up in my room with the Cartoon Network and they were content for another hour. At around 8am we ate breakfast! After breakfast I gave Nathan a haircut...It was gettin' way too long and I know his mom will be happy about that!! While I was spiking Nathan's hair, he said to me "You're doing a really great job"! I just about mealted!! After I finished up with his hair, we brushed teeth, got dressed and packed their stuff up!

I made them do a toy check to make sure they got everything! I didn't want to find a Teen Titan when I went to bed tonight!!!

I called Marissa at 10:30am and she was still asleep!! Must be nice!! We'll see what time they wake you up tomorrow morning!!! Hee hee hee.... I told Marissa tocall me back when she was awake and that there was no rush...I was having a great time with them!

We went downstairs to play for a little while before we had to meet Marissa and I got a few cute shots of them!! They are both so photogenic!!

I met Marissa at Susy's House to make the exchange.....I handed them off to their Marissa and we took the kids to Burger King for a quick lunch.

All in all it was a perfect day....

I think the BLACK cloud has lifted!!!

I've been having one of those Murphy's Law moments for the past week and a half! Every little thing has been happening to me! Most of them just little things, but one after another!! Some of my friends were starting to worry....Damn, I was starting to worry!!! I felt like I shouldn't leave the house, cause something else might happen!!!

Today's was a good day....

Foxy Croppers "A Day To Create" w/ Carol Wingert & Tena Springer

What an AMAZING day! This past Saturday Aug 13 was the Foxy Croppers "Day To Create" class taught by Carol Wingert & Tena Springer. These women are so amazing and talented and they flew to Los Angeles, CA. from AZ. just to teach the Foxy Croppers. This is the second time we’ve had them out here to teach and we will be planning another on in Jan 2006! The projects were so FANTASTIC! The 1st project was a really cute fabric book, the 2nd project was an 80 page hand bound journal made from a cigar box and the 3rd project was this really cute orange & green junk book done with one of Heidi Swapp's Kits! The Foxes all had a great time and we can't wait to do it again!!

I would also like to thank all the ladies that attended this event!! Everyone was just so nice. I hope every that drove in and flew in for this event had a safe trip home. The Ribbon!

We hit the mother load!!!! How stinkin' cute is this ribbon!!! We found it at Michael Levine’s downtown! It wasn't cheat, but it was too cute and we had to have it! Crystle found it shoved on a shelf with all kinds of other stuff!!! Good eye Crystle!!!

Shoppin' Downtown with Carol & Tena

What a GREAT day we had on Friday! Susy, Crystle & I picked up Tena & Carol at the Burbank airport at 9:15 am and headed straight to downtown Los Angeles to go shopping in the garment district! We took Carol & Tena to all my favorite downtown spots, two of them being Bohemian Crystals & Michael Levine's trim and Fabric store on Maple!

Where My Girls At!!!

Yeah, I'm so excited!! Tonight the FOXES are hooking up for a Girls Night Out! A Little bit of shopping, a little bit of dinner and a whole lot-O-fun! It's been a few months since the last one! We always have such a GREAT time when we get together. I'm excited cause tonight I get to see some of the FOXES I haven't seen in a while!!! I know there are quite a few that couldn't make it tonight and we will miss you!!! There's always next time!!!!

I don't know what it is about this group, but I just love them! The song "Helena" is stuck in my head and I make everyone listen to it. Oh, and the video is AWESOME!!!

A Day of Creativity

Today Susy, Crystle & I got together to scrap. Kind of a last minute thing. Susy actually got the LO done that she'd been working on for weeks now! LOL!!!.....Sorry Susy, had to raz you on that one. Crystle belted them out as usual and I got 3 LO's done! Three seems to be the magic number with me for LO's. Every time I've scrapped I've gotten 3 LO's done!…Hell, I'm not complaining.…That's great form me! I actually LOVE all the ones I did today

The flower under the word "Enjoy" on my 1st LO is from Magistical Memories. They will be releasing a line of retro chipboard flowers and shapes. They are AWESOME! I painted the chipboard flower with MM acrylic paint and added pp behind it! Michael.......Awesome job on the flowers there dude!!! Love' em!
