Wow! is all I can say!!! There are so many AMAZING scrappers applying for the OPAAT Creative Team!!! This is really going to be a tough decision! I'm just having the best time looking at all the beautiful entries!! We are picking 4 ladies to join the design team. Those four new girls will be joining Julie & myself. This is a very NEW site and we wish that we could have more, but it's just not possible at this time. Capella will also be having a guest designers, so there's always a chance if you don't make the Creative Team that you might be asked to be a guest designer!!! Capella & I were up really late last night making some ROCKIN kits!!! OMG they are sooooo cute, your gonna love'em!!

I LOVE this picture of my Dad & I.I tried something that I've wanted to do for a while. I made my own overlay using a transparency that I printed on! It started out as just an experiment, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out!

I did this LO for the Creative Team bio page. Instead of just a photo we thought it would be cut to do a LO's! Just a simple one with out names on them. I'm lovin' the new KI Color Theory!

One Page at a Time is looking for YOU!

That’s right, One Page at a Time is on the hunt for new talent to join our creative team! One Page at a Time is an online monthly kit club using the latest and greatest in patterned paper, ribbon and embellishments. We also offer fabulous mini kits to create those quick pages. We are excited to announce that we will be adding monthly embellishment and ribbon kits to the site. We are looking to add 4 new members to the creative team! Each creative team member will be given a 6 month non-exclusive contract with One Page at a Time. As a creative team member you will be required to submit at least 2 LO's per month to the One Page at a Time online gallery.

Email your entries in jpeg format (files should not exceed 100K) with your full name, mailing address, email address, a link to your blog and details of any other manufacturer or store design teams may currently be on.

To be considered, please submit 3 Layouts (Single and/or Double Page) & 1 Altered Project to submit@onepageatatime.com. Your submitted entries should not be more than 6 months old. The deadline for submission is midnight June 3rd, 2006. Winners will be announced June 10th on the One Page at a Time web site and will also be contacted vie email.

Woo hoo! The new June kit is up at One Page at a Time! This is a GREAT kit for those Fathers Day photos!!! Love that Boho Chic & Chatterbox paper together!!! Also, We just put together the July kit and all I can say is....... LOVE IT.... and so will you!!!

Also, I have a little toot...Capella, the owner of One Page at a Time has asked me to be more involved with the site and I have a new title....Head Designer! Woo hoo!!!

Happy Mothers Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day!! I spent the whole day with my family! We went to lunch, to the movies and then to dinner. All in all it was a wonderful relaxing day.

This stuff is AMAZING!!! I didn't know it was the same as the filling in the Ferrer Roche! Those are my FAVORITE!!! OK, OK...I just have to pace myself....I can't eat the whole jar! Then Wendy emails me and tells me about all these recipes that are posted on 2peas!!!! Oh, and the toast w/butter and nutella sounds heavenly!

Goofin' Around in Class!

I think I can safely say that last night I was the class clown!!! We went outside to play with filters. The lighting was perfect! It was about 6:30pm. We were all just goofin' off taking silly pictures of each other. The guy in the top middle photo is our teacher. He owns a camera shop and teaches this class for the Burbank Adult School. I affectionately refer to him as Papa Smurf! Come on...you gotta see that! A little blue paint and some red tights!!! TOTALLY!

I was sooooo freakin hungry during class! I was trying to get the girls to leave early and go get something to eat, but nooooo... We stayed till the end! Argh...I get so antsy towards the end of class.... The class is 3hrs LONG! It could easily be 1 1/2 hours! I have to say that I did learn some stuff, but 3 freakin' hours!!! So, finally at 9 o'clock class was over and we went to McD's for something to eat! Yup, the most unhealthiest place on earth!!! But DAMN was it good!

Wow, I look really tired in that photo! So now you all know what I look like 1st thing in the morning with no makeup on! Did I scare you? Hee hee hee.....

Well, it's NSD!! Woo hoo.... So, Happy NSD to all my scrappin' friends and a BIG hug to all my FOXY girls!! For those of you that don't already know, I have a scrapbooking group here in Los Angeles called the Foxy Croppers! They are the most amazing bunch of women! I am so lucky to have so many friends to scrap with!!!

To me , not only does this day honor scrapbooking, it honors all the amazing people I've met through this hobby! Scrapbooking has changed my life in so many ways. I Love you girls! Have a GREAT day today and have fun scrappin'!!

iPod vs MP3 Jukebox

I've been spending a lot of time loading all my CD's on to my computer and reorganizing what's already on there. This is a HUGE undertaking and I didn't think it was going to be so time consuming! I've probably uploaded about 100 CD's over the past week alone.

I had an MP3 player that had music on an it and it was all jacked up! Most of the stuff was in the unknown file, there weren't any genre's listed...It was just a mess. That's when I started this project. I went back, opened everything in windows media player and added all the info.! Now every album is in is own folder with the artists name and a picture of the album cover shows on the folder! It's AWESOME! Also, all the tracks have ALL the info on them.

Now to the next delima! My MP3 player was not working and I took it back to Costco and I was going to order another one online. When I got to the store they had the new video iPod. I called my friend Capella and asked her about it cause she has one and she talked me in to gettin' it.... Well, when I got home and installed the iTunes software it wanted to convert all my files. this took forever!! Capella even come over cause I was o frustrated!!! It was duplicating songs and all kinds of things. When I put the songs on to the iPod there were some songs that were on there 2 or three times! So I'm going to return the iPod and get the Phillips MP3 Jukebox!

Yeah, the iPod plays Videos, but I'm really not gonna watch a movie on a 2 inch screen. So that is not a big deal to me. The MP3Jukebox also has FM radio tuner, voice recorder and it works off of windows media player so all that work I did organizing all my stuff will work with the Jukebox. It wasn't with the iPod. I would have had to add all the album covers in individually so that they would shoe on the iPod and I was not about to do that!

So it's buh bye i Pod, hello Jukebox!
